Our Vision
Dr. Karen Marsian started FootcareZone and footcarezone.com, because she knew that foot care and related health matters are of critical concern to so many people. Dr. Marsian also realized that effective, top quality, and value-oriented foot care products are not always easy to find in one place. So, Dr. Marsian decided to establish this online source for all of your foot care needs.
About Dr. Marsian
Dr. Marsian is a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine with a private practice in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. For over 15 years, Dr. Marsian has provided care to patients of all ages for all types of foot care needs, including diabetic care, sports medicine, and foot dermatology.
Dr. Marsian is a 1989 graduate of Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine (now Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine). She completed a surgical residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts, and she is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine and of the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry for Primary Care in Podiatric Medicine.
Mission Statement
The purpose of this website is to provide adult consumers in the United States with foot care products and information specifically recommended by a doctor. Dr. Marsian has selected some effective and unique foot care products and has assembled them in this single user-friendly catalog of foot care and health resources. In an effort to give you a wide range of alternatives, Dr. Marsian has tried to include many thoughtfully selected product options for a variety of foot-related conditions and needs, and FootcareZone has also established affliate relationships with other online providers of health and other related goods and services. Because Dr. Marsian is a podiatrist, we are able to offer certain especially fine doctor selected brands, which typically are only sold by foot doctors.
In addition, our Knowledge Center gives you, our customers, access to a unique mix of consumer-oriented health and foot care educational resources for your easy reference. This Knowledge Center contains access to balanced information on alternative and generic treatments and other general health information from the U.S. National Library of Medicine, the National Institute of Health, and other governmental and non-governmental entities, along with selected links to brochures on foot care from the American Podiatric Medical Association and to Health Information Centers from WebMD Health.
